If Phil of A Great Moving Crew is not available to do a job himself, he (and this website) can help you find the next best option of a different moving company that could help you. For a date that AGMC is not available, Phil can let you know which of the other moving companies listed below are (or might be) available on that date, and Phil can either connect you with your chosen company directly or help you book an appointment with them, whichever you prefer. Although these listed moving companies are all completely independent (not affiliated with AGMC), Phil has checked them out personally to know they have a relatively high customer satisfaction percent, and don’t have a bad reputation. I keep hearing about problems with many of the other Eugene area moving companies not listed here. There is no charge for this referral service. If we can’t do your moving job, we can at least try to help you land in good hands.
Owned by Vic & Loni, this is the best of the really “Big” moving companies in Eugene (aside from AGMC). Their fees for two men and a van on weekdays are $120.5/hr, and on weekends they are $156.45/hr. Their main drawback is that they don’t have a Satisfaction Guarantee on their service, and they aren’t as quick as they could be, which means the hourly rates can add up to more than they need to be.
Owned by Grant Garoutte. Of all the moving companies listed with AGMC’s referral service, Grant has the highest percent of happy customer feedback. For labor only they are $50/hr per man, they don’t work weekends, and they do offer a Satisfaction Guarantee.
Owned by Scott Brooks. This is a brand new moving company that has only been around for a few months, but Scott does good work and is taking off like a rocket so far. For labor only, they’re $50/hr per man, they don’t usually work Sundays, and they do offer a Happiness Guarantee.
Owned by Steve Hespen. This moving company usually works with one of the best truck loaders in the entire moving industry, named Ron Dillon (pictured here) although Ron is sometimes late. Steve is a bit impersonal and gruff at times, but he’s all business and is extremely reliable.
For labor only they are $50/hr per man, they work seven days a week, same price on weekends, and they do offer a Satisfaction Guarantee.
